The Real Cost of Those Eggs pt.22     

  While driving around the Hudson Valley in New York, I thank God for Sirius radio. I start in the morning with “Morning Joe” and switch to CNBC and CNN at 9 am. It’s Stephanie Miller. When I start to fall asleep, I open the window and crank up E-Street radio. With all this Trump Tariff shit going around, I do at times merge into Fox news.

                         The other day, the anchor made the most pro-Trump statement.  I can’t quote her, but it was something like,

                            “If we have to pay more, do it for America.”

             So the market went down one day and up the next, and you people say, “You see it’s okay, Trump knows what he’s doing, no harm no foul.”

Yes, harm, the United States Treasury bonds have always been called the Gold standard, a safe harbour to keep money in times of world trouble. That is why during hard times, when the stock market sells off, bonds go up.  The other day, during the big sell-off, let's see what happened.

                       

                         “ We  all just witnessed the art of the deal.”

          I feel very bad, Mrs. Leavitt, Trump is going to throw her so far under the bus, and she will continue to keep kissing his ass. Here is what the world witnessed: they saw a pathetic old man playing king. And his ass-kissing administration bending over at his will, that's what they saw.

             The real sad part is I find myself rooting for China, as well as Canada and the European Union. It seems that since no American is strong enough to stand up to Trump’s bullshit. It seems the rest of the world is flipping the Big Bird to the wanna be ruler.  

             What the American people saw was 243 years of the full faith and credit of the United States going down the drain quicker than Trump vodka. Now he's demanding of the world his way or there will be hell to pay. 

            I read that America doesn’t need other countries to survive.

What did Trump say? “They need us more than we need them.”

  And of course his followers believe this shit, that America alone crap.

 Then, when you question one of his supporters,r “how do we pay off the national debt?” The answer is “with our taxes” ( oh God)

    Let’s talk Trump’s tariffs on China .“ China has to give in to us, we hold all the cards.”  Well, I’m sorry, but here is what China can do: they can sell: $105.6 billion to $749.0 billion of United States Treasury Bonds, which they bought to finance our Debt.  

                 So what America has realized in this last week is that Trump is running America just like one of his businesses. How many bankruptcies has he had?
